| well worth the very expensive price-tag of $45 with a YHA discount (by the way - a YHA card in Europe may not be worth jack, but in Australia it is gold, don´t leave home without it) AmEx should be left at home. The Australia Zoo isn´t ordinary, and you´d hardly expect it to be when Steve Irwin, the late, great Crocodile Hunter was primarily responsible for its development. There are shows nearly every hour, with elephants and tigers, and crocs, oh my! There are plenty of informational talks and demonstrations. It was a very exciting day. |
